| Project MEND is a non-profit agency dedicated to helping low-income people with disabilities obtain medical equipment and assisting with financial support for the purchase of prosthetic and orthotic devices. Project MEND is the only agency of its kind in Texas and provides services to children, adults and seniors in need. Our service area currently reaches clients in San Antonio and the Coastal Bend regions.

“To provide low-income persons with disabilities access to recycled, donated medical equipment and specialized fitted devices that will enhance their independence, self-sufficiency and mobility.”
We are currently in need of:
- Manual wheelchairs
- Four-wheel walkers with seats
- Right and left platforms for walkers
- Tub transfer benches
- Shower chairs
- Large and extra-large adult diapers
