Chariots of Hope, a nonprofit organization, has been established for the purpose of collecting used manual wheelchairs. The donated wheelchairs are then repaired and distributed, at no cost to the recipient, to those in need. (Please note that this organization does not provide either power or customized wheelchairs.)

The New England Assistive Living (NEAT) Center has opened a satellite facility in collaboration with the Disability Resource Center of Fairfield Cty. The Center displays manual wheelchairs, aids to daily living, scooters, positioning equipment, etc. Restored equipment is sold at 50% to 80% off new prices. Regularly scheduled product demonstrations.
